Gainesville ISD is pleased to announce that Jordan Howard has been hired as the new Director of Technology for the district.  Mr. Howard comes to GISD with ten years of experience in technology, including four years as the network administrator for Maypearl ISD.  Most recently, he served as an IT manager for American Industrial Services in Waxahachie.  Howard’s diverse experience in various areas of technology and personnel management will be valuable  in his new role at GISD.

Howard attended Texas A&M University in College Station, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management with a minor in Business. He also has an Associates of Applied Science in Information Technology Administrator from Blinn College.  

The previous Director, Jennifer Coleman, retired after 18 years at GISD and 28 years of service total in education.
