A PARADE HOSTED BY THE CITY OF GAINESVILLE, TX TO HONOR MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENTS

In lieu of our monthly chapter meeting, in April 2017, we will be gathering to honor the 15-17 Medal of Honor Recipients being honored at the Annual Medal of Honor Parade in Gainesville, TX. All veterans and their families are invited to be on our Chapter's Float
0830 a.m. Marshall at the Rally Point: Gainesville City Civic Center located at 311 S Weaver St, Gainesville, TX 76240.
10:00 a.m. The Parade steps off at April 9, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. on Broadway street and head toward California Street in Gainesville, TX.
After the parade
1:00 p.m. - 3:00p.m. a public book signing and autograph session starting at the Civic Center. You may bring items for the Medal of Honor Recipients to sign, and have photos taken with the recipients. Some folks bring photos, books, tee-shirts, baseball, military helmets, even unit flags. The city asks that you bring no more than two items per person please.
