• Gainesville ISD is a 4A public school serving nearly 3,000 students at five campuses and Head Start.  In 2015-2016, all GISD campuses achieved Met Standard, the highest rating schools can earn on the state’s accountability system, and in addition, the district as a whole exceeded targets in all four indexes.  This year’s requirements increased at each student grade level and in each subject area. Gainesville Independent School District will continue to strive for student excellence to consistently increase index scores at every campus.
